I am currently working with a forward thinking, Deep technology business in Suffolk that are looking to bring on-board a DevOps engineer with a solid background in Networking and associated protocols.

Your new role
In this newly created role you will work with bleeding edge technology to make continuous improvements to the businesses core platforms. You will create solutions for complex problems, working on a range of changes that will enhance your knowledge of DevOps toolkits, designs and architecture.

You will be excited by the prospect of working with a large range of technology incorporating network, datacentre, automation and scripting tools. This is a genuine opportunity to be embedded in a multifaceted Network environment as part of a technically driven organisation that has a real passion for what they do.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have a solid background in networking and a good understanding of the OSI layer model. Having previous experience with TCP/IP and associated network technologies such as Firewalls, VPN tunnels, VLAN's and routing protocols OSPF and BGP will all give you a great foundation for this role.

Having commercial knowledge of AWS or associated Cloud and Virtualisation technologies, docker experience, ideally Kubernetes will all be a benefit in your new position.
