Senior Network Engineer required on a permanent basis to join a large and reputable organisation based in Lincoln. This transforming organisation is seeking an experienced pro-active and motivated Network specialist to join its expanding IT department.

Your new role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be part of a specialised group within ICT who cover a breadth of technologies which ultimately support a large Cisco based network. This role will require an experienced network specialist to be able to advise and assist networking issues across the organisation and will assist with more junior network team members. The role will be involved with delivering change through relevant projects, equipment refreshes and business as usual support.

What you'll need to succeed
Any experience in the following will be highly desirable:

• Routing and switching on IOS, IOS-XE and NXOS
• Network perimeter deployments with BGP
• Firewall and IPS technologies
• Authentication services such as Cisco ISE
• Controller based wireless technologies
• Load balancing technologies
• Server and Desktop OS
• Experience with public cloud services
• IT Networking certifications would be advantageous but not essential for the position.
