IT Security Analyst (Perm)
Leeds (Home working)
Up to £40,000
Your new role
Responsible for ensuring the infrastructure is hardened and protected in terms of compliance to our security policies.
To ensure high level protection against external threats to our networks and devices.
Responsibilities Monitor computer networks for security issues
To run all vulnerability and baseline scans
Analyse the results and communicate recommendations for improvement steps and further investment
Build a priority roadmap for vulnerability and baseline
Follow the guidelines set in the policies and procedures
Provide evidence for any type of audit
Work with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
Experience needed
IT technical skills around vulnerability and baseline management
To project manage and facilitate corrective and improvement activities
Strong analytical skills to understand details reports and deliver strong priority matrix and quick wins
Good understanding of latest IT technologies and how they interact
Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact
Ability to work in an Enterprise Infrastructure team and work alone when required
Strong team player understanding other needs and requirements
Working locally and communicating remotely all over Europe
Small amount of travel required
