Opportunity: Head of Real-Time Content & Delivery - EMEA

This is an EMEA focused role within the Real-Time Customer Proposition Team. The role reports into the Head of Real-Time. This person is responsible for driving growth of the Refinitiv real-time data business throughout the EMEA region.

The selected individual will need to use their industry knowledge, network, commercial acumen and strategic vision to drive business results by managing the real-time business in the EMEA region across Content Selection, Commercial Strategy and Discovery, Content Delivery, Historical Data and Data Services. This will be accomplished through the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans; the development of client-specific and product solutions; driving and presenting the strategy at internal product briefing meetings and events; and implementing product and marketing programs.

Accountabilities
  • Drive and grow revenue for the real-time data business throughout EMEA
  • End-to-end management of the Powered by Refinitiv strategy (including Managed Exchange Reporting and Server API Products), Refinitiv Data Platform data Publication strategy, and real-time contributed data business on a global basis
  • Responsible for the development of new features for existing products, new product variants, and entirely new business lines within the real-time data space, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to understand market opportunity.

Key Activities
  • Leading through the full product lifecycle from definition and planning through production, release, and end of life, working closely with Product and Platform teams according to established Refinitiv process
  • Communicating the strategy and delivery roadmap at cross-Refinitiv, Platform, and Proposition levels, to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels (C-Suite down)
  • Working with the marketing, communication and creative teams to influence client communications and go-to-market strategies
  • Support Sales Enablement for products in the real-time data segment, particularly in the EMEA region
  • Building and strengthening strong relationships and networks, both internal and external.

Experience & Capabilities
  • The individual must demonstrate the ability to lead and engage in a large complex matrix organisation, with strong collaborative skills
  • The individual will need a highly strategic approach with the ability to build an execution roadmap and drive execution of the plan
  • The individual will be an excellent speaker and communicator - both written and verbal
  • The individual should display a bias for meticulous analysis, followed by high quality and conclusive decision making
  • The individual is likely to have 10+ years industry experience and a consistent track record of deliveries in the real-time market data space
  • The individual should possess the ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends within the real-time data industry - on both the buy-side and sellside
  • The individual should be proficient in product commercialisation and marketing
  • The individual will ideally have knowledge of new technologies supporting / delivering real-time data
  • The individual should have superior client management skills, including proven ability to build and lead senior client relationships
  • The individual should have experience leading business planning and budgeting exercises
  • Experience of financial market regulation would be advantageous
