Primary Purpose of the Role:

This role is responsible for building Systems IT infrastructure, configuration and installation activities on a variety of projects across the business. This includes Implementation, maintenance, optimisation and support of the organisation's following hardware and software core elements. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding project requirements to deliver a solution that meets or exceeds the customer requirements
  • Centralisation, SCCM, Sophos Enterprise Manager, Splunk, SharePoint
  • Security Lockdowns, apply CIS benchmark to systems to harden them to Cyber Attacks.
  • Network design
  • Continuous Improvement, Blue Sky Thinking
  • Providing 3rd level support and mentoring the less experienced members of the team

Skills and experience required:

  • Hands on IT experience
  • A strong working understanding of IT security
  • Penetration testing experience
  • Experience in MS SCCM/Sharepoint
  • Team player, with strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation, able to translate complex technical issues into non-technical terms
  • Keen to learn new skills and be aware of latest technologies and trends
