Cybersecurity Analyst

Join one the fastest growing, award-winning Insurance start-ups in the UK as they look to bring in a Cybersecurity Analyst to work closely with the CISO. As part of their cybersecurity team, you’ll engage across several cybersecurity fields looking to help secure their current IT infrastructure and product.  

What you’ll be doing as Cybersecurity Analyst: 

• Utilise your current experience across a number of cybersecurity domains (Cloud, SecOps, Application, IAM, etc.) to engage in numerous projects across the entire organisation. 
• Gain the opportunity to further develop and learn as you work closely with the CISO to secure their current platform/product.  
• Get involved in vulnerability management, implementation of security tools, security process/IR plan creation, and cloud migration    
• Research several different tools and have a big say in the direction of security across the entirety of the business. 
• Work closely with development teams as you help to build security into the fabric of the organisation and offering.  

What you’ll need to become a Cybersecurity Analyst: 

• Ability to get stuck into technical areas of cybersecurity  
• Experience working within a cloud environment (Preferred but not essential) 
• Appetite the learn and develop  
• Knowledge of security solutions e.g. Network Firewalls, proxy technologies, EDR, SIEM, (Gateway and SaaS). 
• Good interpersonal communication skills
