Your new role
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Infrastructure Engineer will be the technical and on occasions, the management lead on projects assigned by the IT Manager.
This role requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in many IT disciplines as detailed below. In addition to projects, the role will entail 3rd line technical support, office visits which may include 1st to 3rd line support and continuous performance monitoring and improvement of the IT Infrastructure.
The IT Technical Specialist will be responsible for documenting, testing, improving and implementing Disaster Recovery.
This individual will continuously monitor, research and improve cyber security as well as remediate any virus outbreaks or security breaches.
