This is a well-known public sector organisation that works to keep people across Northern Ireland mentally fit. They have a robust IT presence now and are actively looking to add a member of staff who can help them build up their cyber security defences.

Your new role

You will be tasked with the following:

• Using your knowledge of security principles to evaluate, develop and implement IT security solutions Recommend, implement and monitor security configurations for LAN and WAN networks
• Assist the organisation in achieving and maintaining the ISO 27001 security standard
• Investigating security incidents

What you'll need to succeed

To do well in this position you will need the following:

• Good experience working in an IT Security environment
• Familiarity with networking protocols
• Experience with ISO 27001
• Ideally hold a security qualification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CEH
