Your new company
A leading financial services organisation in central London are looking for a Procurement contractor for 6 months + to sit within their Technology Procurement function. This is a brand new role created to cope with a peak in demand specific to cyber security services. The role is will working from home for the foreseeable, however as the client are based in Central London, you must be able to commute there at least 2-3 days per week come 2021 if requested.
Your new role
As the Interim Procurement Category Manager you will work with a varied and technical stakeholders such as Project Managers and architects to understand business needs. You will be responsible for managing a range of complex IT procurement projects from renewals, statements of work, procurement governance, negotiation, and new product sourcing. You will confidently manage the proof of concept process within regulatory deadlines and support on wider procurement IT projects if needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be proactive n nature in order to engage with your stakeholders and update them on timescales etc. You will have broad IT procurement exposure and some experience and knowledge within Cyber Security will help here. Experience specifically in software & IT professional services will help you in this role.
What you'll get in return
Please note this business are not engaging with LTD company workers, and so your pay route will be either PAYE or Umbrella.
