Your role

Are you interested in Cyber Security? Do you have experience or willing to learn how to defend an enterprise against cyber-attacks? Do you have the right attitude and are eager to join newly established Cyber Operations team?

We are looking for shift based Senior Cyber Security Analyst who will:

• perform continuous cyber monitoring, coordinate analysis and initial response to cyber alerts
• process actionable and strategic Cyber Intelligence (IOCs, TTPs, RFIs, External Reports) and coordinate follow up actions with key operational stakeholders
• provide overview and summary around cyber threat landscape posture for key stakeholders and other operational teams
• act as key liaison between Cyber Monitoring and wider CISO organization
• recommend and own tuning, improvement initiatives of detection and mitigation capabilities and overall service maturity
• work with SOAR, EDR, NIDS platforms for intrusion investigations
• analyze malware to identify its behavior, assess the impact and mitigate accordingly
• provide suggestions and recommendations for Detection Content Enhancement engineers on possible improvements or new detection capabilities

Your team

You'll be working in 24x7 Cyber Monitoring team which is a backbone for a wider Cyber Operations function and is located in Zurich. You will be exposed to a peer functions and will support Threat Response, Proactive Hunting, Advanced Analytics and Detection Content Enhancement Teams. We are global team with the presence in Switzerland, USA and Singapore focusing on pro-active defense capability supported by active intelligence consumption.

Your expertise

• leadership experience working in Technical Operational Teams
• experience and good understanding of IT Security practices and Cyber Threat Landscape trends
• analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out and find a solution to a problem)
• positive attitude and interest in learning new skills
• possession of at least one of the industry recognized cyber security certifications (CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SANS GIAC) would be a huge benefit
• self-driven professional passionate about Cyber Security
• always keen to know all recent news and innovative developments in Cyber Security field
• innovative, creative and always taking the lead to improve yourself and our team by going an extra mile
• a team-player taking ownership, challenging bad behavior or inefficient processes and suggesting improvements
• great collaborator
• capable of understanding client, stakeholder needs and translating requirements into products and services
• fluent in English
