IT Infrastructure Engineer

Your new role
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Infrastructure Engineer will be the technical and on occasions, the management lead on projects assigned by the IT Manager.
This role requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience.
The role will entail 3rd line technical support, site- office visits which may include 1st to 3rd line support and continuous performance monitoring and improvement of the IT Infrastructure.
This individual will continuously monitor, research and improve cyber security as well as remediate any virus outbreaks or security breaches.
The role requires out of hours work on updates and system upgrades. In addition to this, this role will have shared responsibility of monitoring the IT Systems and incoming tickets out of hours.
Knowledge Required
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server operating systems from 2003 to 2019
Office 365 Hybrid Deployment and Setup
Sharepoint setup and administration
OneDrive setup and administration
Azure AD
Exchange Server 2010 / Exchange 365
Cyber Essentials Plus Certification requirements
DNS
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
VMWare
Firewall administration
