Your new role
You will manage two groups of direct reports who provide 2nd and 3rd line support, and large scale project support. Your team will provide support, maintenance and development to the infrastructure and technological environment. As Server & Network Lead you will design, configure and program complex systems, oversee large scale projects and be the highest point of escalation for both teams. You will analyse the current service, identify weaknesses and make improvements accordingly. Additionally, you will manage, support and mentor your subordinates, carrying out employee appraisals and performance reviews.

What you need to succeed

• Successful execution of a large-scale project i.e. cloud migration
• Detailed knowledge of IT infrastructure components
• Strong technical background - networks, infrastructure, ITIL environment
• Experience managing a team of technicians
• Proficient in liaising and supporting a large scale user base and 3rd party vendors
• Attained or working towards academic or industry standard qualifications
• Able to demonstrate current technological knowledge

Skilled in: Microsoft technologies, Firewalls & VPN's, Cisco, Wi-Fi config., VPNs, WANs
