Job Description
This leading technology and data business is currently seeking an Application Security Specialist to join its growing Security team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to own the Security software development life cycle programme.
The firm is at the forefront of innovation and has a continuous development security programme. You will be embedded with the engineering team and will push security into the SDLC. You will work on a wide portfolio of applications, both new and legacy, covering a range of software, services, development stack, APIs and systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong mix of security architecture, technical and communication skills. You will also need strong CI/CD, Azure and/or AWS, and some practical experience with the SDLC (e.g. in a sysadmin, developer, senior tester/QA analyst, application architect, script writer, API designer etc role) You will not be coding in this role, but you will need to sit with the coders and explain what they need to change to ensure the application estate is built, delivered and operated securely.
The role can be based partly from home and party from one of their offices based in the South East of England, South West of England, Scotland or Ireland.
