Head of Security (Cyber) – Midlands

A well-established, leading, Cloud Hosting Company who have an array of certifications & associations with technology partners are seeking a Head of Cyber Security to join their Midlands based team.  Growth is expected to double in size over the next 2 years.

The Head of Cyber Security role will involve securing the organisation internally as a starting point, ensuring the Security Operations Centre (SOC) is secure.  Along with ensuring services to customers / clients are robust and secure.

This is an opportunity for someone who is not afraid to delve deep into existing architecture, this role requires a Cyber Security Lead / SOC Lead / Head of Cyber Security who will come in and essentially un-pick the current practises.  The Head of Security will be required to set the tone of security across the entire business

Head of Cyber Security skills include

• Experience of running a SOC / Security Operations Centre and SIEM Technologies
• Demonstrable experience of managing and developing client relationships  
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Data Protection Legislation, Information Security frameworks, Security Risk Assessments & Cyber Security best practises
