Network Security Engineer

My client is a specialist Cyber Security Consultancy and Managed Service Provider. They are made up of dedicated security professionals from a variety of different backgrounds with a proven track record.

They provide consultancy and managed security services including Penetration Tests (Red Team, Web App, Infrastructure etc), SIEM Monitoring, Incident Response and Threat Intelligence.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide technical support to new and existing clients on network architecture, improvement, management, and remediation.  The candidate would lead on the deployment, integration, and support of secure, robust and compliant network infrastructure.

What we are looking for

  • Experience with Fortinet Products (FortiGate, FortiWeb, FortiManager etc) is highly desirable but not required provided you possess alternate vendor experience (Palo Alto, Checkpoint etc)
  • Have a wealth of experience in network auditing, configuration, and performance monitoring.
  • Have experience in the deployment of generalist network solutions (firewalls, IPS, VPN etc)
  • Work well in a team and be able to use their initiative and understanding to manage their own research efforts.
  • Communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing.  Be confident in presenting technical findings to a mixture of senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain excellent standards in their work and show a high degree of attention to detail
  • Have a good understanding of vulnerability assessment platforms.
  • Relevant certification or degree advantageous (NSE 4, CCNP, etc)
