I am currently working with a large and well known organisation in South Essex looking to onboard a Service Desk Analyst for a 6 Month fixed term contract.

Your new role
In your new role your key objectives would be to assist the with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.

You will provide experienced service desk and desktop support using ITIL foundations and ensure calls are closed within the agreed SLAs. Also support with corporate and personal mobile devices and continually upskill non-IT staff on use of standard hardware and software, especially in relation to Cyber Security.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in your new role you will have knowledge of or hold ITIL v3 or above and desirably another certification such as MCSE or equivalent. You will have held a similar position in another large organisation supporting with 1st and 2nd line Desktop, Server and Networking issues and duties.

You will have good understanding of Microsoft desk administration tools and server design technology
and familiarisation of large scale corporate networks and security.
