My client, a global firm are looking for an Information Security Manager to lead on the design, development and implementation of information security policies. You will ensure information and cyber security policies are designed to reduce risks. You will support the Information Security Management Framework, providing the first line of defence Information Security Risk Management expertise, advice, and oversight across the business, ensuring they operate within their risk appetite.
The role requires someone who has operated on a global scale, you will deliver a number of high-profile policies and controls to a number of senior stakeholders across the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Expert knowledge of Information and Cyber Security ie Information Security, IT Audit or Risk
  • Expert knowledge of Information Security policies and standards
  • Experience in designing and leading governance and policy frameworks
  • Expert knowledge of the regulatory environment in the financial services sector
  • Strong communications, presentation and influencing skills
  • Excellent technical writing skills to allow policies to be presented clearly, concisely, and consistently
  • Experience in bringing together security and business requirements
  • Strong experience acting as global primary security contact
As an ideal candidate, you will have an industry certification such as CISSP/CISM/CRISC and have expert knowledge of Information Security. You will also have a proven track record of delivery in a similar role. Experience within the Legal Sector is highly advantageous.
