Job Description
Barclay Simpson are excited to be working with a leading global communication technology company as they continue their global growth. They are currently expanding their team in the UK and therefore are looking for a number of Security Engineers to join their international team.
The Security Engineers can be based anywhere in the UK due the company fully embracing flexible working, with these roles now being home-based.
Due the company being fast-paced, constantly innovating with new technologies and tools, they are looking for deep technical expertise and a true passion for Security. Whether it be on the offensive or defensive side, there will be a plethora of interesting projects to get your teeth stuck into.
The Security Engineer needs to have a solid understanding of System Security as well as having a solid Network Engineering background with knowledge of both Windows and Linus platforms. You will be able to carry out security reviews, investigate and respond to incidents, whilst assisting in the vulnerability management process. You will also be expected to automate tasks using self-created tools.
If you can bring all this to the table, you will not be disappointed. There are healthy training budgets, you will attend industry events (Blackhat, BSides, DefCon, etc.) whilst working with an international security team allowing your work to directly impact over 1,000,000 users globally.
