Infrastructure Architect - CoE - Cloud/ Automation/ Kubernetes

A multi-national Investment bank are spear heading a new Infrastructure centre of excellence with a focus on automation, engineering and DevOps.

As the Infrastructure Architect, you will work as an internal consultant for the Bank representing thousands of developers engineering their infrastructure capabilities.

You will pioneer new technologies into the infrastructure domain with a focus on cloud engineering, system administration, desktop engineering, developer tooling, security architecture and automation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Create complex project plans, perform impact analysis and manage a large stakeholder community through the process
• Contribute to technical design and strategic direction on affecting the infrastructure globally.
• Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams and create automation of repetitive tasks.
• Responsible for overall operating system applications
• Driving best practice around cyber security

What experience would prove beneficial:

• Experience infrastructure architecture knowledge around Redhat Openshift, AWS, Containerization platforms and automation tooling
• Have enjoyed a considerable amount of time within a highly regulated financial services organisation.
• Have managed stakeholders, development teams and projects on a global scale.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps
