This well-established global organisation is recruiting for an IT Specialist to join their team on the South Coast. You will provide top-class IT support within a professional organisation that is within easy reach of Bournemouth / Poole and Southampton.

Your new role
You will play a key role within IT being the main point of contact between business users and the technical teams, understanding business needs and providing top class IT support to ensure business continuity.

This is a varied role where you will provide local technical expertise and fault resolution, triaging and escalating issues that need further investigation from the central IT team and managing these through to completion. You will co-ordinate, support and run small - mid-sized IT projects such as process changes, roll outs or enhancements. You will work with the business to enhance the service that is provided by IT, suggesting and planning solutions.

You will build strong relationships with business users / central IT and third party organisations ensuring high levels of delivery, customer service and compliance at all times.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have demonstrable experience of providing IT technical support / expertise within a similar role. You will have good technical knowledge and be strong at troubleshooting and problem resolution. Your technical capability is likely to include basic end-user support across a variety of devices, databases and software applications. You will have strong planning and organisation skills and be good at dealing with non-technical and technical users.
