Job Description
Well established and growing international corporate bank are looking for an Operational Risk Manager to join their Luxembourg team.
This is an exciting unique position that offers the opportunity to work directly with the CRO and lead on operational risk management topics.
The Role:

• Lead in the on-going development of the Operational Risk Management Framework.
• Working closely with the business to identify potential risks, and promote solutions to mitigate operational risks.
• Design, review, update and implement operational risk policies and procedures.
• Conduct Operational Risk event investigations.
• Responsible for business continuity and crisis management.
• Promote Risk culture across the bank.
• Provide Operational Risk awareness training to all staff members.
• Prepare risk reports for Risk Committee, Board of Directors, Head Office.
• Coordinate tools for management of Operational Risks (Event Reports, Key Risk Indicators and Risk & Control Self-Assessments.)
• Evaluate the design, effectiveness and execution of internal controls.
• Support the CRO in the communication with external auditors and local Luxembourg regulator.

Ideal Candidate:

• Must have proven experience of working on Operational Risk frameworks.
• Must have proven experience working within financial services - ideally corporate banking experience.
• Must have hands on experience working on operational risk RCSA's, risk events, scenario analysis, identifying key risk indicators and producing operational risk management reports.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral is essential.
• Must have experience influencing key stakeholders on operational risk topics.
• Ability to work autonomously, lead and take ownership of projects.
