A large public sector organisation are looking for a Information Security Consultant to join their team

Your new role
The core focus of the role is to review the Information Security framework, documentation, policy adherence and support for the ISO 27001 control framework. Create and implement a plan to remediate any findings and improvement. Devise an awareness program capturing key information security principles for the end user, capturing their responsibilities and tracking compliance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience and knowledge of security methodologies and industry standards (ISO 27001 and CIS) You will have the following Information Security qualification (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.) You will have a broad understanding of technology security best practice. You will have excellent interpersonal and organisation skills as well as substantial experience in stakeholder management.

What you'll get in return
a short term 2 month contract running until end of march. £350 per day inside IR35
