Your new company
My client is an established and growing provider of decision analytics tools to improve decision making and the end user experience. Due to growth and the changing nature of security, they are looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer.

Your new role
Your role will be to ensure that the service provided continuously improves to ensure long lasting positive results for clients. Working in security, you must keep the business informed about possible threats by constantly prioritising threats by their severity for the company. You will then assist in applying the appropriate control to eliminate as much risk as possible and ultimately learn from these incidents to improve future transactions.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be proactive in wanting to get involved and passionate about fixing problems to ensure security is upheld at all times. You must have worked in an environment with an approach of risk based auditing, you'll also need:

• ISO27001 and ISMS
• SIEM
• Device Endpoint Security
• A relevant degree or CCP / CISSP is also desired. You must also be familiar with device endpoint security and hosting infrastructure security.

You'll receive all the equipment required for the role such as laptop etc to be onboarded remotely, you'll also have high levels of autonomy and freedom to create your own way of working. You can expect to be hybrid working - mainly remote/from home with occasional travel into their offices in central Bristol.
