Job Overview
The role has come about as the 3G network for the client is going to be switched off so you will need to work closely with engineers and commercial teams to finalise a plan to ensure the customer is not impacted. Certain areas within the UK will be targeted first so you will need to be comfortable with looking at a lot of data and providing analytical solutions but amending language where necessary so that all parties understand what is required from them.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and evolution of the Network Strategy for the fixed, mobile and converged network - working with several stakeholders including Group, Consumer and Corporate functions.
- Model different network scenarios, considering different assumptions and specific commercial objectives.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external organisations to understand the key drivers, challenges and opportunities for the network's strategy, evolution and convergence.
- Define a reliable and cost-effective network plans and feed into the LRP.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to feed the network strategy into the network planning team and make it become an operational plan.
- Provide input to strategy and economic advisers around the benefits that network investments will bring to the clients' customers
Experience needed
- 10-15 years telecommunications or consultancy related industry experience
- Strong analytical, communication and technical skills
- Proven ability to think strategically about business, products and technology
- Proven record of defining and implementing strategic plans.
- Excellent knowledge of mobile and fixed networks
- Excellent stakeholder management
