Join a young growing UK bank as a Security Architect as they look to continue to grow out their Cybersecurity team. As a Security Architect you’ll work closely with both the Head of Engineering and CTO to help the bank define a clear cybersecurity road map putting the pieces in place to drive them towards a safer environment.

What you’ll be doing as a Security Architect:
- Utilise your experience working with a number of teams (software development and delivery) to define, implement and manage a whole host of security requirements across varying projects within the Bank.
- Understand different security controls ensuring they’re embedded into the SDLC as you work closely with the development teams.
- Implement a security awareness across the wider reach of the bank as they look to make everyone aware of cybersecurity and its potential pitfalls
- Develop a new threat modelling framework that incorporates risk analysis
- Engage with a host of 3rd parties looking to conduct penetration tests through setting up scope and the subsequent remediation.
- Liaise with the SecOps team to provide mentoring as you work with the wider security teams.
- Expand your security knowledge around tooling and suggest improvements that could be made across the business.
What you’ll need to be a Security Architect:
- Working knowledge of security tools and security controls within the information security space
- Good understanding of Software development
- Experience leading projects or teams (desirable but not essential)
- Cloud Security experience (AWS or Azure – desirable but not essential)
- Very good communication skills
- The ability to relay technical information to non-technical people
