A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is seeking a Cyber Security Lead Consultant for a major London based financial services customer. 6 month contract, remote working currently, Inside IR35

The role is responsible for investigating and analysing Cyber Security activities and processes at a broad enough level to be able to have those intelligent, probing type questions of the Customer and looking to make them more efficient through process improvements by working with key stake holders.
The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for or contribute to:
Gathering and managing both functional and non-functional requirements, gathered using effective workshops as necessary;
Carry out business process mapping, identifying areas for improvement, business process re-engineering and business process analysis wherever needed;
Helping develop the service model;
Coordinate security awareness campaigns;
Work alongside Cyber Security SMEs to define metrics, enable their collection and visualisation;
Assisting in Proof of Concept(s)
Analysing Proof of Concept results, drawing up conclusions and gaining agreement for them;
Documenting the as-is and to-be processes and procedures;
Monitoring and reporting progress of agreed work packages, socialising any concerns or gaps that will impact ability to deliver;

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have several of the following skills and experiences
General Broad security experience and some scripting knowledge such as Python
Critical thinking
Ability to work well under pressure
Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience with collaboration solutions such as Sharepoint, Confluence, Jira, etc.
Willing to expand their skillset
Excellent understanding of business environments
Five years' experience in security consulting in large corporate environments, financial services experience beneficial
Experience of defining operational arrangements: SLA and OLA
Presenting recommendations to different stakeholders and gaining sign-off by addressing queries from different stakeholders
Experience working with technical and non-technical teams across a broad range of IT disciplines
Documenting business, security, technical and operational requirements derived from self-driven business workshops and user forums
Requirements gathering for large complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders
