Summary of Role
Configuration and Data Management are critical elements in the successful delivery of programmes. The post holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team developing and delivering services and products into the defence sector. Raytheon has recently been successful as part of the Team Fisher consortium in winning the Selborne contract - a 12 year programme for the Royal Navy delivering, supporting and transforming training. The successful candidate will join this exciting opportunity as well as supporting other current programmes to ensure that all Raytheon programmes are successfully delivered and support the future growth plans of the company.

Main Duties
•Apply and administer CM processes on programmes as directed to ensure CM compliance. This includes the configuration identification, control, status accounting and auditing for development and operational systems.
•Administer internal configuration control forums, including the production of agendas, facilitation of meetings, and documenting results.
•Perform data management including the scheduling, coordination, production and delivery of all data items generated on the programs, including auditing for compliance with customer, security, and programme standards.
•Perform document control and accountability functions. Administer programme action item system and prepare for and participate in the conduct of configuration baseline audits (e.g., FCA, PCA, Pre-ship).
•Support programme start-up and change activities including establishing configuration processes, data management repositories and regular governance and execution meetings.
•Administer public stores account for Government Furnished Assets, including execution of receipt and transfer processes, conduct regular audits and custodian for physical and intangible stores across multiple locations.
•Act as point of contact across the team for all UK and US Export Control Requirements.
•There will be an expectation that travel between Customer sites will be required for this role.

Candidate Requirements

Essential
•You will be conversant with CM standards and ISO 9001.
•You will be able to effectively interface and communicate with multiple levels of management and colleagues in other functional and business areas and be able to integrate and work within a team.
•Experience establishing, developing and implementing Configuration Management processes and training, such as configuration control, identification, data library/repository, product release and delivery, and configuration audits.
•Demonstrable industrial experience in Configuration Management or experience working in a technical environment interfacing with delivery services, systems, software, hardware or test engineering disciplines.
•You will be able to implement processes to manage the Programmes Project and Product related Data, Controlled & Classified artefacts to comply with ITAR, EXIM, US FMS and the UK Export Controls, Legal & Contractual Requirements.
•Experienced with Microsoft office tools advanced features: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access or other database experience requiring schema definition and data manipulation.
•Working knowledge of CM and DM requirements within the Engineering Development Life Cycle.
•Hold or be able to achieve SC level clearance and be willing to undergo further security vetting if required.
