Senior PHP Developer / Senior Symfony Developer

An Innovative Fast growing, privately owned Tech firm is looking for several talented developers to contribute to their continued success.

Responsibilities of the Senior PHP Developer / Senior Symfony Developer

• The successful Senior PHP / Symfony developer will join an expanding team of enthusiastic, collaborative, and innovative technology professionals. Our client would ideally like someone with an ability and a passion for writing clean, well-tested code as well as having a natural drive to understand new technology and assist in developing solutions to complicated problems.
• The role is primarily a PHP role; however, the successful candidate would be expected to play a part in all projects and quickly gain an understanding of new concepts and technology.
• Due to COVID restrictions the position is currently remote. However, when its safe to do so you would be expected to commute to a central London location as the role requires.
• This is an exciting role best suited to a motivated self-starter with a great eye for detail and a desire to help people. You’ll have the opportunity to work with new technologies and be a significate member of a fast-growing company.

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• PHP7+
• Symfony 3+
• Dependency Management tools – Preferably Composer
• Vision coltrol (GIT)
• Caching (Memcache or Redis)
• Javascript
• Unit testing e.g. PHP Unit
• MySQL and working with ORM sys

Highly Desirable:

• Working in an Agile environment
• Queuing Systems (SQS, RabbitMQ)
• NoSQL databases e.g. MongoDB
• AWS Services
• Exposure to high availability systems
• Working with API frameworks e.g. api-platform.com
