Your new role
You will be joining a passionate and dedicated IT operations team, the core purpose of the role is to provide project support for the organisation's network infrastructure. You will be required to Work in a team to help design and complete full switch cabinet upgrades, configure and install switches, diagnosing and remediating technical problems with network hardware and supporting patching across the Organisation in line with IT standards .

What you'll need to succeed
You will require the following Qualifications and Experience to be considered for the role
  • Technical accreditation in relevant area; CCNA\\CCNA Data Centre, CCNP, CCP-N, VCP.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
  • Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA).
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate- Wireless (CCNAW).
  • Experience providing IT technical support for networked environments.
  • Experience in supporting Cisco Catalyst technologies.
  • Experience in working with single-mode and multi-mode fibre, CAT5, CAT5e and CAT6.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate.
  • Experience in switch/routing technologies, fault and resolution diagnostics.
  • Expert in Ethernet technologies at the physical layer.
  • Knowledge of configuration and maintenance of Cisco 2960, 3650, 3850 & 9000 series Catalysts.
  • Strong grasp of TCP/IP, routing and switching.
  • Hands on configuration skills with network devices.
  • Cisco core products including routing, switching, hardware, support, fibre


What you'll get in return
6 month contract. 35 days annual leave, strict 37.5 hours working week, hourly rate is £15-19 the role is inside IR35.
