Our public sector client are looking to recruit a ServiceNow Service Catalogue Analyst on a 3 -6 month rolling contract. You will work to support the organisations end users, resolver groups and process owners with their effective use of the ServiceNow® ITSM platform (known as myIT), being the primary portal for users to access IT support and services. You will also be responsible for improving, managing and maintaining the Service Catalogue, therefore it is vital you have received past exposure to this.

Responsibilities include:

  • Configure myIT to support all ITIL processes in line with the approved Service Management Operational Model
  • Utilise the standard ServiceNow methodology for deployment of configuration through the environments, migrating code from development through to the test, train and production environments.
  • Ensure myIT is configured in accordance with the approved Common Data Model
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with strategic suppliers, particularly the Service Desk, as well as all ITSM process owners and key internal stakeholders.
  • Undertaking the activities required to upgrade the ITSM tool
  • Perform troubleshooting of myIT issues, including escalating to and working with the vendor to resolve the issue where needed.
  • Providing end user support for approximately 1,500 ITIL users

Skills required:

  • Advanced ServiceNow Administration Skills
  • Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL processes
  • Configuration of service requests, workflows, approvals and user criteria
  • Scripting and configuration of tables, workflows and forms for incident, problem, change and requests
  • Experience with Service Catalogues (service catalogue items)

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working within the Public-Sector

In return you will receive the opportunity to work on a high-profile government programme. Although this is initially a 3-6 month contract, it will include flexible/predominately if not all remote based work as well as a very strong possibility of extension.
