Job Description
This DevOps and Cloud Consultancy was established 3 years ago but already has several top tier FTSE listed banking and financial services firms as clients. The firm has around 15 employees at present but is growing rapidly due to increasing customer demand.
They are seeking to hire a Security Engineer who is experienced with security controls for Kubernetes and security tooling (especially container tooling e.g. aqua and twistlock), Security Engineers with experience of tooling such as Splunk, SIEM or SOC will not be relevant for this role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers in the financial services space (including leading banks and insurers).
The firm is also considered to be a technical thought leader and they regularly write and publish technical articles. If you are interested, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the additional training work they do with their customers (e.g. one household name customer recently asked them to train their engineers in DevSecOps).
The firm has a very strong culture and values proposition which is refreshing, employee-centric and progressive.
In this role, you can be based anywhere in the UK. You will work predominantly remotely, although there may be occasions when you may need to work from client-site.
