Senior SOC Analyst

Join a well-backed startup with existing demand for its services as a Senior SOC Analyst. You’ll join a growing team and help define the future development of their Remote MSSP SecurityOffering whilst working in close conjunction with the COO and CTO. 

What you’ll be doing as a Senior SOC Analyst: 

Utilising your previous experience using some of the latest cutting edge SIEM tools to successfully monitor, triage and remediate security-related incidents on a whole host of client networks 

Adding to or developing your leadership/mentoring skills as you upskill and manage Junior members of the SOC team 

Performing incident response activities such as malware analysis, remote system analysis and containment 

Continuously developing and tuning the processes and security tools to ensure effective and efficient use 

Helping to grow the team, conduct interviews and ensure a positive, collaborative team approach within the SOC  

Conducting “after-action” reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices for the future 

What you’ll need to be a Senior SOC Analyst: 

Experience utilising a variety of SIEM tools (Splunk, Alien Vault, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.) 

Experience within digital forensics, threat hunting, and IR 

Relevant security certifications such as (GCIH, GMON, GCIA, etc.) 

Good understanding of security architecture 

Strong understanding of root causes of malware infections and proactive mitigation
