Your new company
We are an Oxford institution who are regarded as one of the foremost centres for higher education in the world. We bring together and support the greatest minds from across the world who go on to become leaders in their fields. To achieve our goal of fostering innovation we require the very best technology; so, we're investing heavily into a transformation programme which will enable change across our organisation.

We now require a senior infrastructure professional to work with our Head of IT to define a road-map for our infrastructure and to implement a series of infrastructure projects.

Your new role
You will work in a senior technical role as an integral member of our IT team, working with the Head of IT to define a road-map for our infrastructure and work to implement the technical improvements yourself. You'll join us at an exciting time when we're investing heavily across our IT department, and you'll be closely involved in an almost complete infrastructure refresh; including transitioning from Windows Server 2012 to 2019, a migration to hybrid Azure Cloud, a new tender and implementation for unified wireless and Cisco network upgrades in addition to further infrastructure projects relating to our other groundbreaking technology initiatives.

What you'll get in return
We're offering an exciting opportunity with one of the world's most respected organisations. You'll be offered a competitive salary of circa £50,000 + a significant benefits package and flexible working including home working (3 days per week). You'll join a highly experienced team delivering exciting infrastructure projects which rarely happen concurrently. You'll be supported with a closely-knit management team and cutting edge systems and technology, based in stunning, historic buildings in Oxford.
