IT Security consultant

We are looking for an IT Security Expert to support a VPN Roll-out at our client in the Banking Sector.

6 month contract

Rate per hour

Profile and background:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Technical and/or process experience in Identity and Access Management discipline with emphasis on authentication and authorisation solutions
• Familiarity with networking concepts
• Familiarity with risk assessment principles
• Ability to explain technical terms to non-technical individuals
• Understanding concept of security benchmarks/controls, IT security baselines and Vulnerability Management would be a great advantage
• Fluent spoken and written English

Must haves:

• Cryptography - 4 - Senior
• Java - 4 - Senior
• Network, communication - 4 - Senior
• Windows Server OS - 4 - Senior

Other technical skills:

• Experience with IBM Security Access Manager or other SSO solution
• Knowledge of federation technologies (OpenID Connect, SAML)
• Familiar with container-based architecture and infrastructure solutions, such as Docker
• Familiar with web reverse proxy
• Familiar with directory services (AD, RACF, LDAP)
• Programming or strong scripting skills (e.g. Java, Bash, Perl, Python or other languages)
• Knowledge about TCP IP stack and HTTP protocol
• Linux and Windows based system administration skills
