A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is seeking an Infrastructure Security Architect for a major financial services customer specialising in payment technologies, 12 month contract, London based client, currently remote, inside IR35

Key Accountabilities:
Be responsible for the security architecture & critical compliance with the Governance program
Support the knowledge development of the security team by sharing knowledge, learning from others & driving your own personal development
Assisting with high-level, and more detailed low-level technical documentation of the solution architecture
Actively support continuous improvement
Closely liaise with other technical areas such as Engineering, Architecture, Middleware, Platform, Database and Automation teams
Advises the business on priorities for security design and implementation
Work to ensure that the team can meet or exceed agreed Service Level Agreements
Adhere to and follow policies and procedures in all activities
Continuously develop knowledge of all relevant products and services
Advises the business on priorities for secure network design and implementation
Advises on project considerations related to network infrastructure to ensure security, availability, recoverability, performance, integrity, and supportability
Provide suggestions, recommendations and input on direction for strategy and roadmap

Responsibilities;
Report on improvements with measures such as: outcome value orientated, improved quality, efficiency & productivity, value of the improvements, automation availability and performance
Monitors network security to ensure effective network safeguard processes are in place
Leads and executes development projects in the security space.
Resolves complex network architecture issues, escalating unique or problematic areas as they arise
Provide high quality project delivery, including build, documentation and knowledge sharing
Mentors junior staff by providing training to develop technical skills and capabilities across the team
Ensure that the Team Leader / Manager is informed of workload status and details of key issues
Assesses network security to ensure effective network safeguard processes are in place and operational networks are running effectively for hosted production systems
Serves as a point of escalation, resolving problems of diverse scopes where analysis of the situation requires in-depth evaluation and judgement
Provide suggestions, recommendations and input on direction for strategy and roadmap
Responsible for ensure all projects comply with the governance program
