SC Clearance is prefered

We are currently working with a Laboratory organisation based in Greater London. They are seeking an experience network engineer to support a newly promoted Network manager in the support of their current infrastructure and future changes.

Must have experience in the following:

• SC Clearance would be ideal
• Alcatel network switches
• Alcatel/Aruba Clearpass
• Alcatel/Aruba Wireless
• Voip
• Firewall management

Further Requirements;

• Support Network Manager with business requirements for network solutions or changes to existing services
• Working with the network manager to ensure that accurate, quality analysis of existing solutions to ensure that business requirements are met and solutions are developed that are fit for purpose
• Design, implement and manage network improvements and changes to support all users with minimal downtime
• Ensure their information and technical assets are protected from attack through management of firewalls and other security technologies
• Monitor the network ensuring faults are resolved with minimum disruption to the business
• Manage and report on network utilisation and performance of wired and wireless infrastructure
• Create and maintain projects and operational documentation relating to the LAN/WAN infrastructure
