Your Job
You will play an integral part within the Line 2, operational risk function in Business oversight. Daily activities will include but are not limited to the following...

• Assist the Head of Operational risk with operational risk management and ongoing framework development, by Identify gaps and ways to improve processes.
• Management and training of an AVP member of staff.
• Providing robust management of risk, by working closely with the line 1 business teams, conducting risk identification, spotlight reviews, and assessment workshops.
• Support with management of prudential reporting such as ICAAP, SWDP & ILAA and also by assisting with stress testing, modelling and assessment processes.
• Delivering insights on second line reviews and delivering communication on how a strong risk culture is an integral part of the business in a range of senior committees.
• Maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and other areas of the business.
• Being aware and up to date of regulatory updates and changes and factoring this into your everyday work. Understanding products, product changes, business processes and process changes.

Your Skills
As the ideal candidate you will have ...

• Previous management experience within operational risk is preferred.
• Knowledge of capital markets (Securities & derivative products along with their rules)
• Knowledge on managing an ICAAP
• ACA/ACCA or Equivalent / FRM/PRM or relevant CISI certifications
