React.JS Front-End Developer - London

React.JS Front End Developer with excellent front end development experience in JavaScript in particular React.JS is required by a leading Life Sciences company in central London. If you have experience of Next.JS, worked in DevOps environment and Cloud Native then this would be a bonus.

This a Front End Developer role that is to help with the exciting digital transformation that is going on at the moment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with JavaScript, React.js, HTML and CSS
• Appreciation of front-end architecture to include; single page applications (SPA), server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
• Knowledge and experience on Git, Git branching strategies and its application to continuous delivery

• Experience with JavaScript test frameworks and have a "Shift to the Left" Mindset when it comes to testing. Unit and integration testing with testing around code so the developers take a bit of ownership in testing their code

• Experience of Agile, DevOps and continuous delivery ways of working.

Desirable Skills

• js & Nightwatch.JS
• Experience using Docker containers
• Experience using AWS to deploy and run front-end applications

This Front end developer role is to develop world-class user interfaces using technologies including React.js, Next.js, HTML and CSS.

They want to promote a shift left development and testing approach where developers code their own unit and integration tests using Nightwatch.js & embrace a more DevOps culture

It is a true Agile delivery departing where they believe in continuous delivery best practises, with several releases per week. At the moment they have lots of new projects to work on, new product releases in the pipeline and you will work alongside a multi-disciplined team such as, UX Designers, Back End Development, Cloud Engineer, Devops Engineer

My client works in the really ethical sector of life sciences, developing products to help companies progress in medical research, so what you do is helping others! They are offering a salary of between £40,000 - £55,000 + Flexible working
