SOC Security Analyst - Intrusion Analysis, Low level PCAP, Vuln Management! A REALLY varied and interesting role, inc Incident Escalation, Analysis, advanced SIEM use and engineering, Linux skills, intrusion, to £40k, Birmingham - Experienced, professional recruitment too!

I'm a security specialist looking to make contact with a skilled and highly technical Security / SOC / Computer Sciences / Low-Level Linux person with strong interest in IT Security and low-level network packet / Security analysis. The role is desperately cool, with chances to get your hands on elements of the engineering of the platform, get involved with Vulnerability scanning and management, and also intrusion detection and analysis.

Main Requirements

• Strong Security and Packet Level skills
• Knowledge and experience with at least one common SIEM tool (LogRhythm, GrayLog, Snort, ArcSight, Elastic etc)
• Some willingness to participate in shifts where possible
• Knowledge of Low level Linux scripting
• IT and Security Geekery! We have fun here! :-)
