A leading Technology company is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to work in their testing team, the role is fully remote but will require you to be based in the UK with a right to work without sponsorship.

Your new role

You'll be joining an already established team and working with the Test Manager and teams to define process and strategy associated with automation.
You'll also Perform effective defect management and drive defects to closure by taking complete bug ownership.

What you'll need to succeed

The following experience is required:

• At least ISEB/ISTQB Foundation, preferably Practitioner
• Experience of working in Quality Assurance Automation or as a Test Automation Engineer
• Experience in all areas of the testing lifecycle (systems testing, functional, regression testing, UAT)
• Good working experience of Selenium, Spec Flow or Cypress or other code based test frame works.
• Good working knowledge of .NET coding languages and/or JavaScript
• Experience in testing Web UI and Web API applications.
• Experience of Test Driven Development processes and frameworks
• Good knowledge of commonly used test models & frameworks
• Good understanding of the test lifecycle and where it sits within the development lifecycle
• Experience of carrying out peer reviews, triages, show-and-tells product demonstrations
• At least a basic knowledge of JSON, XML and SQL
• Good understanding of TDD/ BDD and related frameworks like Cucumber
• Ability to write and execute manual test cases and then automate them
• Knowledge of OOPS concepts
• Working Linux & DB knowledge
