Your new company
We are a leading utilities company with hundreds of thousands of customers across the UK. We have a large IT division here and are constantly embarking on new projects to both improve and grow our business. Right now, we require an interim IT Security Project Manager to lead and deliver a security project.

Your new role
Working within the IT Security Operations team, you will responsible for the project management and delivery of the new Endpoint Security rollout across our organisation. You will take ownership of the full project life cycle by developing, executing, co-ordinating and monitoring overall project plans (in MS Project), tasks, and milestones. You will work directly with stakeholders and third parties, managing and co-ordinating work with different teams to drive the project deliverables and milestones forward. You will proactively recognise risks or issues ensuring all are tracked and escalated to the correct forums, as necessary and regularly maintain RAID logs so they can be referenced by any stakeholder. You will provide regular status reports and work closely with the IT Security Endpoint Protection manager to report on key metrics related to project status.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a focus around IT Security and possess a proven track record of successful project deliveries across other blue-chip organisations. You will have domain experience in cyber security and information security. You will hold strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with an innovative mindset to allow for fast problem-solving. You will have knowledge or experience in Windows and Linux environments and a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies. Working knowledge of an Endpoint Protection architecture and an understanding of security governance, risk and compliance would be advantageous. Experience within the energy utilities industry is desirable but not essential.
