This position is ideal for someone who is operating at a senior level, who has a technical audit or accounting background, and is more recently working in, or has desire to work in, an operational leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the set up and operational delivery of multiple, large scale and complex SOX Execution Testing programmes, and monitoring compliance against our delivery frameworks. In this regard, responsibilities include:
  • Providing oversight across large teams, supporting delivery and quality.
  • Supporting teams to drive operational excellence and tackling transformation
  • Ensure that our ISO accredited delivery frameworks are at the heart of all programmes, including, delivery plans, metrics and a reporting framework to accurately articulate performance to clients.
  • Ensuring all programmes meet with contractual obligations and standards as well as budget and timescales.
  • In conjunction with our Technical Management team assume responsibility for quality, risk and governance and seek ways to continually improve processes, driving efficiencies and automating processes through the use of technology where possible.
  • Help to position our services and capability across the PwC network, building and holding relationships with Partners
  • Personally maintain strong professional relationships with key client and internal stakeholders.
  • Coaching and supporting career development across all grades.
  • Support the growth ambition of our business through exceptional delivery and bringing best practice.

Essential criteria
  • Experience of operating at senior management level in an operations environment
  • Demonstrable success as a senior leader and of managing and developing large high performing teams.
  • A track record of success setting up and / or running compliance operations, demonstrating strategic outlook, commercial acumen and business planning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships
  • Experience in SOX audit or strong controls testing technical background
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or International equivalent) desirable

Where will you be based?
This role is based in our Belfast site. Any travel is likely to be ad hoc, for example attending client meetings or training events within the UK and beyond. Your desire for any other travel or base location can be discussed as part of the recruitment process.
