A leading IT Infrastructure & Services Consultancy seeks an Information Security Officer for a 3 month contract initially, fully remote role, Inside IR35

Within the Group Information Assurance function and as part of a friendly global Group Information Security team a Group Information Security Officer is required for an internal role on a short term contract basis.

Experienced Cyber Security Professional (5 years minimum) with proven experience in operating an ISMS Framework and excellent knowledge of ISO27001 controls with a passion for operating key security processes such Security Incident Management, Risk Management, Vulnerability Management and Supplier Management.
Duties will include for Security Incident management investigation, co-ordination and remediation, including running lessons learnt.
Working with our internal customers, you will undertake risk assessments, identify potential information security risks and causes, recommend remediation activity and help the risk owners drive the implementation of mitigations to reduce information security risk to an acceptable level.
You will need excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills with the ability to present to a non-technical audience, with the ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks through to successful conclusion.
Experience of working in cloud environments would also be an advantage.
