You will be working for a customer focused organisation in Bath, looking to add a contractor for a 6 month role.

Your new role

As a network engineer you will ensure the organisation's infrastructure is stable and supported. In this role you will ensure the smooth running of the IT systems, advising on suitable upgrades and remedial work. Working on projects as well as picking up BAU work, which would include back ups, networking, servers and storage. You will follow ITIL processes and ensure a good level of customer service is given.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be familiar with IT network infrastructure and hold excellent understanding on common network services including DNS and DHCP. Broad knowledge on infrastructure and systems, the ability to troubleshoot at all levels as well as strong knowledge of next generation firewalls would also lead to your success. CISCO is desirable. You will be required to cover an out of hours rota so flexibility is essential.
