Position summary:
This is a great opportunity to broaden your personal development and experience exciting challenges as a member of our HS Marston Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) team. If you're interested in a Demand Planning Work Placement with Collins Aerospace, we would love to hear from you.
In this role you will:
- Lead short-term and long-term planning via Master Production Scheduling (MPS) / Material Required Planning (MRP) including material availability analysis.
- Support business capacity modelling and the decision making process.
- Investigate customer reschedule requests and analyse any Material Required Planning (MRP) or Sales impacts.
- Support the sales forecasting process and develop process improvements.
- Generate business KPI's and present insights to various teams across the business
- Support our continuous improvement culture through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Undergraduate studying Materials Management, Business Analyst or Analytics based degree
- Strong analytical skills with advanced MS office skills, (VBA an advantage)
- Good attention to detail and work to a high level of accuracy
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Have a proactive and organised approach to the various duties involved
- Able to work to tight deadlines and have a flexible attitude to respond to rapid changes in tasks
- Needs to be a confident and clear communicator in both written and verbal skills
- IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to commit to the full 12 month placement
