IT Auditor, IT Audit, IT Security

Hays are pleased to be exclusively supporting a high-profile client in Milton Keynes who now have an exciting opportunity for am IT Auditor to join their newly formed supplier risk assessment team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with strong technical, analytical, negotiating and influencing skills with prior experience of infrastructure IT audits; application audits; information security; cyber security; PCI DSS Compliance, and/or project audit work.

The ideal candidate will possess practical audit experience in risk and control based auditing although IT professionals with a strong information security background considering a move into IT audit will also be considered alongside proven experience in Security Governance, Risk management and Business Continuity

If you are to be successful in this role, other key elements will include:

• Good knowledge of information technology and security certifications, standards and frameworks such as ISAE 3000 | SOC 2, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, COBIT...
• Knowledge of IT Audit practices, IT Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Vulnerability Management, Security testing methodologies (OWASP, OSSTMM...).
• Strong relationship management skills that help facilitate a pro-active and effective compliance-to-business relationship
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills together with being a deadline-driven team player.
• Ability to persuade and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels and display business judgement.
