Server Support Engineer
Location: Haverhill
£157 Per Day (UMBRELLA) 04/05/21 to 15/06/21 with a possible extension.
A leading provider of IT services and solutions is currently looking for a Server Support Engineer to join their expanding team at their prestigious offices in Haverhill.
Role Summary:
Server domain migration. Build, duplicate & install servers (virtual or physical). Perform pre-testing before migration. Perform end-to-end service & user testing after migration. Perform advanced database actions under the supervision of a DBA. Perform advanced network actions (including firewall) under the supervision a network engineer. Hypercare after migration (server, network, telephone system and peripherals with routine maintenance). -What is the technical environment, & minimum (technical) skills/experience needed? Excellent customer service in face-to-face, telephone or electronic interaction with Clients, good language and communications skills, problem-solving, good understanding of computer support and troubleshooting, knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, 7, Win10 products, knowledge in network (VLAN), ability to work in a team, ability to prioritise projects.
With highly developed interpersonal skills, you’ll have the ability to engage with customers and ensure that you provide a consistently positive customer experience. In addition, you’ll have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and will be an enthusiastic and supportive colleague in an often-pressurised environment.
