Job Description
International media company seeks an experienced PenTester to join their growing team.
Currently the delivery of PenTesting is fully outsourced to 3rd parties. Your role will be to start bringing PenTesting in-house and to build penetration testing as an internal service for the firm. Initially, your role will involve co-ordination of the 3rd party testing while you build a picture of what could be brought in-house. You will work with key senior stakeholders to identify and scope key assets which require full security assessments. From 2022, you will start to deliver in-house penetration testing services including web application and infrastructure testing. This is an excellent opportunity to build a new internal service for the organisation and to take ownership of this, whilst building a team underneath you.
The successful candidate will have previous work experience as a PenTester with good stakeholder management skills. The role could suit someone who is currently working in an MSSP, a consultancy or an internal PenTesting team. You may have relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CRT but this is not a pre-requisite. The organisation offers excellent training and benefits, and you can expect to attend training courses supported by the firm to help you develop your technical (and other) skills.
The role is offered as fully remote. The contract will need to be tied to a UK office so you will need to have a valid right to work in the UK, but you could do the role remotely from anywhere in the UK or Europe if desired.
