Your new role
You will require experience of working within a Network and Server team, familiar with Enterprise Network Technology and Servers. The role involves the provision of support and maintenance for the ICT infrastructure working on problem analysis and resolution and contributing to the infrastructure projects to implement solutions - often working closely with colleagues in other teams such as applications and desktop.
You will need some experience of configuring, installing, maintaining and supporting hardware, peripherals, operating systems (Windows Server and desktop) and desktop software (including AV applications) to corporate standards. Alongside knowledge of physical and virtual server hardware configuration and management.
Experienced of wired and wireless networks, network protocols (including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP), network installation, configuration and performance (including working on switches and firewalls) and remote access technologies alongside understanding the implementation, configuration and use of enterprise anti-virus solutions would be advantageous.
You will have knowledge of VMWare ideally 7.x, and VSANs to support and trouble shooting level.
