Prestigious opportunity for a Network Engineer with a leading UK-wide transport company. Supporting over 25,000 employees across the length and breadth of the UK, you will join our newly formed Group Technology & Change function who are responsible for the drive of change through the use of technology.

As one of a small team of Network/Infrastructure Engineers you will be given the scope to

● Assist in providing a resilient, cloud-first infrastructure across voice, data and servers
● Develop, implement, and maintain policies, operational procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure
● Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors
● Responsible for the backups, restore and disaster recovery of key business services
● Turn business requirements into a technical solution
● Ensure that the infrastructure platform is maintained, operational and patched
● Assist the wider infrastructure team with projects and support

If you possess a combination of any of the following skills, then LETS TALK!

● Experience working in a network & virtual based 2nd/3rd line technical role
● An understanding of ISO 20000 or ITIL Service Management Frameworks
● Cisco routing & switching
● Telephony
● Experience implementing or managing a cloud-based platforms
● Experience working with a variety of communication methods; Fibre, copper, radio, etc.
● Experience managing critical WLAN networks
